Buying your first piece of demi-fine jewellery is thrilling. The joy of fresh new luxury is unparalled
The question is, how do you take care of it once you take it home?
KAOAPH'S GOT YOUR COVERED!
STORAGE
Prolonged exposure to sunlight and moisture might cause the products to tarnish over time. To avoid that, savor your products in soft cloth bags, zip locks and also store in air tight spaces. Our packaging comes with a specially designed soft surface and jewellery pouches that protects your jewellery from developing scratches or marks
STORING GOLDS
Gold is less likely to tarnish than silver, but it's still smart to store it in a safe space. You can use the same kinds of tarnish-preventative bags to store your gold demi-fine jewellery, or your padded jewellery kits and cases to provide a soft ground to them

To extend the life span of your demi-fines , avoid the contact with soaps, perfumes, water/pool water, etc and choose to wear your jewellery after applying your perfume. If you perspire in your jewellery, it is advised to give it a quick clean with a cloth to avoid any residue that could dull down the finish

To clean gold plated jewellery, softly run a soft cloth on it to clean the areas as needed.
When it comes to storing and maintaining pieces with Cubic Zirconia diamonds, semi-precious stones or real pearls, the best thing you can do is add some padding/cushion to your storage. You can wrap up your pieces in soft cloth or pouches so as to avoid the development of any scratches or marks

When cleaning the pieces, make sure to use light pressure when brushing your stones so that they don't become loose in their settings.

STERLING SILVER
Ideally, you'll want to keep your 92.5 Sterling Silver jewellery in a tarnish-preventative bag and avoid storing silver and gold jewellery together. Sterling Silver can be worn and carried in every form and does not generally discolour or loose shine when exposed, but it is preferable to clean it occassionally when not in use

You can create a solution of lukewarm water and a gentle dishwasher detergent to clean sterling silver. Immerse the piece of jewelry in the solution for a few minutes and then remove it and dry and polish it with a soft polishing cloth.
